Margie Moczygemba, PhD, is a Research Associate Professor at the Texas A&M Institute of Biosciences and Technology, Adviser to the Dean for Internal Affairs at EnMed, and Director of the IBT Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Facility. At EnMed, she also serves as Co-Course Director for the Introduction to Disease course, where she teaches immunology.

With a background in cell biology and immunology, Dr. Moczygemba brings over 25 years of academic research experience. Her laboratory focuses on developing innovative strategies to block inflammatory cell signaling involved in allergic inflammation and asthma, with the ultimate goal of translating these discoveries into effective therapies. A key area of her research centers on deepening the understanding of eosinophil biology.

To achieve these goals, Dr. Moczygemba and her team utilize cutting-edge methodologies, including advanced flow cytometry, as well as a broad spectrum of cellular, immunological, and biochemical techniques.
