Dr. Michael Paolini is a dedicated medical educator in the School of Engineering Medicine at Texas A&M University. He earned his M.D. and M.S. in Neuroscience from Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Paolini then completed Anatomic Pathology residency and Neuropathology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He transitioned to medical education by joining the faculty at Texas A&M College of Medicine for the inaugural ENMED class.

He has focused on preclinical medical school education, teaching a wide variety of topics including histology, physiology, anatomy, neuroscience, and pathology. For his teaching, Dr. Paolini has been awarded Outstanding Pre-Clinical Faculty by the graduating classes of 2023 and 2024. He has also received the Distinguished Achievement Award from the Association of Former Students and has been elected to join the Texas A&M Academy of Distinguished Medical Educators.
