Aman Pathan

Biomedical Engineering, The University of Texas at Dallas     

Aman Pathan is from Murphy, Texas, United States. While having grown up in different communities around the country, he’s spent most of his later years in Texas. Aman graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas. During his time as an undergrad, he dedicated his time to neural engineering and neuroimaging research at UT Southwestern Medical Center alongside volunteering at Methodist Richardson. He also founded a club, Health Connect, and served as it’s Vice President helping guide students through pre-healthcare pathways and service opportunities. After graduation, Aman served as a tutor, hospice volunteer and clinical research coordinator for autoimmune clinical research.

Aman chose EnMed because he wants to contribute to the advancement of healthcare through medicine, engineering, and emerging technology. He hopes to participate in the transition toward a future in which innovative tools improve how physicians diagnose, treat, and care for patients. Through EnMed, he hopes to learn how to identify unmet clinical needs and transform them into practical solutions that improve patient care.

Outside of academics, Aman enjoys drawing and other forms of art, hiking, and reading fantasy novels. He also enjoys creative writing and developing original characters, stories, and fictional worlds.
