Christos Georgiadis

Biomedical Engineering, Texas A&M University  

Christos Georgiadis is from Houston, Texas, and spent part of his childhood in Greece. He graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2025 and earned a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering in 2026.

During graduate school, Christos conducted research in the Cardiovascular Pathomechanics Laboratory, where he contributed to projects investigating arterial stiffness as a biomechanical marker for coronary plaque rupture in coronary artery disease and developing a deep learning model for automated coronary CT angiography segmentation to support geometric uncertainty quantification research.

Christos chose the EnMed program because he is excited by the opportunity to bridge engineering and medicine to improve patient care. He hopes to continue applying computational and quantitative approaches to clinical problems while contributing to the development of innovative diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. He looks forward to building the skills needed for a career that integrates clinical practice with translational research.

In his free time, Christos enjoys playing the piano, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
