Megan Guy

Interdisciplinary Engineering, Texas A&M University     

Megan Guy was born and raised here in Houston, Texas. She is the loudest and proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2026, having graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Engineering and minors in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical Engineering. While at Texas A&M, Megan participated in Engineering Honors and undergraduate research, working to develop non-invasive point-of-care devices for improved drug delivery and biomarker detection. She spent all four years as a part of the Century Singers, Texas A&M’s mixed choir, and she served as the President of Sling Health TAMU, a student run med-tech incubator. It was there, alongside her time as a Fellow in Mays Business Fellows Group XLIV and her community of Craig and Galen Brown Foundation Scholars that she deepened her love for service, healthcare, and innovation. During her summers, Megan participated in the Summer Undergraduate Research Internship through Houston Methodist Academic Institute and worked to advance patient care as an intern at Spectrum Psychiatry.

Megan chose the EnMed program because she believes that the future of medicine lies in integrating medical innovation into direct patient care. She is looking forward to honing her innovative and entrepreneurial skills alongside and intertwined with building her medical knowledge. The interdisciplinary mindset she cultivates throughout her time here will allow Megan to have the direct impact of helping patients as well as the broader impact of improving medical care through new perspectives.

Megan spends her free time with friends, family, books, and music. She loves to sing in choirs and the car, and she’s excited to spend four years exploring her hometown with her classmates.
