Dr. Nivedita Ganguly, an instructional faculty member specializing in microbiology and infectious diseases at Texas A&M University Health Science Center’s School of Engineering Medicine (EnMed) in Houston, embodies a unique blend of medical expertise, passion for teaching, and a rich artistic spirit.

Hailing from esteemed institutions in India, Dr. Ganguly’s journey spans continents and fields, starting with her medical degree from Calcutta Medical College and subsequent MD in clinical microbiology from JN Medical College in Aligarh. Upon relocating to the United States, she pursued a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC). Her tenure as an assistant professor in infectious diseases at KUMC laid the foundation for a career marked by dedication to patient care, education, and scholarly pursuits.
