Dr. Nilesh Mathuria is an associate professor of clinical cardiology at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute. Dr. Mathuria’s research interests focus on cardiac electrophysiology, including mapping and ablation of atrial fibrillation and complex arrhythmias, device therapy for arrhythmia management, and strategies to improve outcomes in patients with heart rhythm disorders.
Dr. John Cooke is a professor of cardiovascular sciences at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute. Dr. Cooke’s research focuses on vascular regeneration, vascular cell identity, and cell fate.
Dr. Carly Filgueira is an assistant professor of nanomedicine at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute. Dr. Filgueira is currently interested in developing alternative treatment approaches for physiological disorders through sustained-release formulations harnessing nanotechnological approaches.

Dr. Maham Rahimi is an associate professor of cardiovascular surgery at the Houston Methodist Academic Institute. His research encompasses nanotechnology, vascular surgery, biomedical engineering, device design, and innovation.
