Katryna Dahlberg grew up in Hutto, TX, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN, where she also played collegiate volleyball. She continued her education by earning a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. During her undergraduate studies, Katryna received the Ruel Fox Burns Blanket, an award presented to the department’s top senior male and female athletes.
At EnMed, Katryna is actively involved in the student-run clinics and the Health Innovations Club. She conducts neurology research focusing on both stroke and epilepsy and serves as the co-president of the student interest group in neurology (SIGN).
Katryna chose EnMed for its unique combination of medical education and engineering innovation, aligning with her dedication to creating impactful solutions that enhance patient care. Through the program, she aims to integrate her engineering background with clinical training to develop cutting-edge healthcare technologies and improve patient outcomes.
Outside of academics, Katryna enjoys playing volleyball, watching reality TV, and spending time with her dog, Henry. She is passionate about exploring new areas of neurology and deepening her understanding of this evolving specialty.
