Griffith Nguyen

Mechanical Engineering, University of California San Diego

Griffith Nguyen was raised in McLean, Virginia, and graduated with a bachelor of science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California – San Diego. During his time as an undergraduate student, he spent two years working in a cancer bioinformatics lab, 2 years in a pharmacology lab, and three years working on a motion tape system and mobile application in an engineering lab.

Nguyen chose EnMed because he is interested in the possibilities granted by combining engineering and medicine. He hopes to continue to heavily utilize both his undergraduate degree and the further engineering mentorship at EnMed to advance medical devices as a physician.

In his free time, Nguyen enjoys watching sports and playing video games with friends. He also enjoys reading, skiing, ping pong, and exploring new restaurants.
