Reid Master
Biomedical Engineering, Texas A&M University
Reid Master grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with his bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineering. As an undergraduate student, Reid was involved in numerous organizations including the National Biomedical Honor Society and Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, where he served as philanthropy chair and raised over $30,000 collectively benefiting families affected by ALS. Throughout these years, he held positions as a medical scribe in the ED, patient coordinator at a psychiatric clinic, volunteer EMT assistant, and certified personal trainer.
As a member of George Research Group, he studied applications of computational fluid dynamics to provide early diagnostics for newborns suffering from congenital pulmonary airway malformations. He also joined Tian Lab, where he analyzed animal gait patterns via motion capture coding to evaluate novel implantable hydrogels.
Reid chose EnMed based on his desire to translate emerging technologies into clinical practice while being an early adopter of innovation. His current specialty interests are radiation oncology and preventative medicine, where he hopes to leverage his background as a physicianeer to improve patient care by delivering individualized medicine.
In his free time, Reid enjoys being active with run club, slowpitch softball, weightlifting, golf, and pickleball. He also enjoys cooking, coffee brewing, and playing piano.
