Jenna Krueger
Biomedical Engineering, University of Texas at Dallas
Jenna Krueger is originally from St. Louis, Missouri, but she graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with Magna Cum Laude and Collegium V Honors. She attended undergraduate as a National Merit Scholar and became a member of both the Tau Beta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi honors societies. She was involved in the Society of Women Engineers as Co-Chair of the Competitions Team. Her experience included acting as a Team Lead on a company-sponsored project that managed chemical reaction environments in the company’s chemical engineering lab. Her team would compete the project at the national WE23 Team Tech Competition and win third place. In addition, Krueger completed research on DNA Topological Imaging using biochemistry and biophysical techniques. She completed multiple semesters of research credit as a UTD Bioengineering Scholar. After graduating, Krueger worked at Total Access Urgent Care in St. Louis, where she gained experience with IV placements, medical laboratory testing, and EKGs.
Krueger chose to attend EnMed with the goal of blending her passions of engineering and medicine. She hopes to be able to develop her own innovations in order to improve the healthcare experience for both the patient and employee perspective. Her interests include Emergency Medicine, Cardiology, Addiction Medicine and Academic Medicine. She also aims to engage with the EnMed community through extracurriculars and volunteering.
Krueger enjoys a combination of going out and staying in. When she is out exploring, you may find her at a local museum or foodie spot with friends. When she is relaxing at home, you may find her reading a good book or bingeing a science fiction television show.
