Joshua Robert
Computer Science, Texas A&M University
Joshua Robert is from Dallas, Texas, and graduated with honors from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science on the Pre-Medicine Track. As a Craig and Galen Brown Foundation Scholar and National Merit Scholar, he immersed himself in projects at the intersection of artificial intelligence and medicine, earning multiple scholarships, research awards, and competitive fellowships. He also completed Stanford University School of Medicine’s AI in Healthcare Specialization, which enhanced his understanding of clinical data, machine learning, and the ethical implementation of AI in real-world health systems. His work led to the founding of a venture focused on accelerating medical research through intelligent data pipelines, supported by the NSF I-Corps program and recognized at global AI summits including Ai4, GEO·Conf, and the AI Leaders Summit.
At Texas A&M, Joshua also served on the national board of Sling Health, a med-tech incubator backed by the AMA, where he led IT and outreach efforts across multiple top-tier institutions. He contributed to early cancer detection research as a software developer at IPGx and worked on physiological modeling at the Texas A&M College of Medicine. Whether conducting lymphatic system modeling in Java, building full-stack tools for patient analytics, or assisting in orthopedic clinics, his work bridges engineering precision with clinical purpose.
Joshua chose EnMed to continue blending medicine and innovation at the highest level. He is particularly passionate about building scalable, equitable health solutions for underserved populations and sees every project as an opportunity to uphold human dignity through technology. His career interests include surgery, medical device innovation, clinical informatics, and global health applications of AI.
Outside of academics, Joshua enjoys exploring creative design through fashion, staying active at the gym, and flying his drone to capture nature and cityscapes. He also spends time building LEGO sets, playing in VR, and discovering hidden gems while thrifting, always keeping things balanced between focus and fun.
