Maansi Srinivasan
Biomedical Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin
Maansi Srinivasan is from Plano, Texas, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. During her undergrad, she worked at UT Austin’s Willerson Center for Cardiovascular Modeling and Simulation (WCCMS), where she researched imaging techniques to characterize the mechanical and structural properties of biomaterials for heart valve replacements. Additionally, as a project lead for UT Austin’s Engineering World Health chapter, she directed two global health projects that placed internationally in the Engineering World Health Design Competition, with one project earning a finalist spot in the Rice360 Global Health Technologies Design Competition.
After graduation, Maansi joined ClearCam Inc., an Austin-based MedTech startup, as a medical innovations engineer, where she led AI-driven projects to enhance visualization technologies in laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Maansi chose EnMed because, as an aspiring physician, she wants to evolve alongside medicine’s rapidly changing technological landscape. She is drawn to translating innovations into real clinical improvements, with particular interests in AI in medicine and developing scalable solutions for resource-limited settings.
In her free time, Maansi enjoys playing violin, bouldering, volunteering, solving sudokus, and listening to music and true-crime podcasts.
