Bioengineering, Texas A&M University

Noah Taylor, originally from College Station, Texas, earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University. For more than three years, he conducted and presented research through both the Houston Methodist Research Institute and Texas A&M’s College of Medicine.

As an undergraduate, Taylor was recognized as a Distinguished Military Graduate through Army ROTC and held leadership roles in which he trained and led over 100 cadets in both Army training and the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. These experiences strengthened his expertise in biomedical innovation while building a strong foundation in discipline, leadership, and teamwork.

He chose the EnMed program, inspired by the opportunity to become a physicianeer—combining medicine and engineering to address real-world challenges. His goal is to develop emergency treatment technologies for military and other non-sterile environments where conventional care is not readily available. Outside of academics, he enjoys building models, playing and listening to music, and exploring the outdoors through hiking and backpacking. In May 2025, Taylor commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and looks forward to serving as a military physician following medical school.
