Dariusz Mrugala was born in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. While at Texas A&M, he performed undergraduate research in Dr. Roozbeh Jafari’s Embedded Signal Processing lab focusing on integrating blood pressure monitoring into smart watches and other wearables. As part of the EnMed program, he looks forward to applying signal processing and machine learning techniques to challenges in health care.

Mrugala is an avid rock climber, and was a member of A&M’s Competitive Climbing team. In his spare time, Mrugala also enjoys playing the piano, riding his motorcycle, running, and spending time with family and friends.

After graduation, Mrugala will further their medical career at HCA Medical City Healthcare in Weatherford, TX, specializing in preliminary medicine.
