Neuroscience and Computer Science, University of Texas at Dallas
Rohan joins EnMed from Dallas, Texas, where he received bachelor’s degrees in neuroscience and computer science from the University of Texas at Dallas. He previously worked as an associate chief scribe at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and has future career aspirations in emergency medicine or surgery.
His research interests include applications of machine learning, augmented reality, virtual reality and other computer science fields in health care. Rohan decided to attend medical school at EnMed after working on a project involving the applications of VR in surgical planning and realizing that he wanted to do similar projects in the future while still being a doctor. He hopes to use his time in the program to learn about potential paths as a physician and computer scientist and how he can achieve a career involving two of his greatest interests.
