Biomedical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin
Jason Shenoi from nearby Katy, TX, received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests include bone grafting, tissue engineering, and polymer science focused on the synthetic generation of bodily tissue to replace donor organs and tissues. He has future plans to pursue a medical specialty in surgery or ophthalmology.
“I am really interested in the connection of engineering and medicine and want to learn more about the process from hands-on experience,” he said. “While the program is geared towards design, it also has a strong emphasis on entrepreneurship which is something I am excited to learn more about.”
Outside of school, he enjoys biking, running and music.
