Biomedical Engineering, Texas A&M University
Landry Lilly was raised in Dallas, Texas, and graduated magna cum laude with his bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University. During his time as an undergrad, he enjoyed playing basketball every week and even taking some extra classes to earn a history minor. After graduating, Landry spent a year as an algebra teacher at an underserved public school in Houston, where he also became the school’s 3-point champion.
Landry chose EnMed because he has a passion for using creativity to solve problems in medicine. He loves anatomy and the diagnostic component of medicine. He has enjoyed continuing to teach while volunteering for the Future Doctor’s camp, which has allowed him to share the most exciting parts of medicine with local high school students.
In his free time, Landry has enjoyed storied success as a fantasy football manager and commissioner. In the offseason, he spends a few evenings a month crafting decadent bottles of mead. Even in the Houston heat, Landry enjoys surfing and golfing, but will take any excuse to get outside. When he gets time away from home, he loves to travel abroad, snowboard, and hike.
