Dariusz Mrugala was born in Fort Worth and graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 2018. While at Texas A&M, he performed undergraduate research in Dr. Roozbeh Jafari’s Embedded Signal Processing lab focusing on integrating blood pressure monitoring into smart watches and other wearables. As part of the EnMed program, he looks forward to applying signal processing and machine learning techniques to challenges in health care.
Dariusz is an avid rock climber, and was a member of A&M’s Competitive Climbing team. In his spare time, Dariusz also enjoys playing the piano, riding his motorcycle, running, and spending time with family and friends.
