Ramez Barsoom holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a master’s degree in Medical Science from The University of North Texas Health Science Center. Ramez is a former Accenture management consultant where he spent 5 years within research & innovation analyzing emerging trends in the digital health sector.
His area of interest lies at the intersection of healthcare and technology – specifically looking at how we can advance the field of personalized medicine using lab-on-a-chip technologies as well as using conventional wearable devices.
Ramez currently serves as the Chair of the Health Equity Committee for the World Economic Forum Houston hub – focusing on improving healthcare accessibility and literacy. In his free time, he likes to explore new restaurants, coffee shops and binge-watch TV shows.
