Texas A&M School of Engineering Medicine (EnMed) proudly honors the Class of 2025 at the M4 Awards Ceremony, celebrating the achievements of outstanding faculty, staff, and students. Hosted by M4 student leaders Hannah Bass and Shourya Kumar, this awards ceremony showcased exceptional contributions to engineering and medicine, all from the heart of the Texas Medical Center. 

The following individuals were recognized as award recipients: 

Outstanding Faculty Awards 

The Outstanding Faculty Awards honors those who have demonstrated teaching, mentorship, and patient care excellence. The recipients included: 

  • Preclerkship: Medicine – Dr. Rhome Hughes 
  • Preclerkship: Engineering – Dr. Nicholas Sears 
  • Family Medicine, Medical Center – Dr. Irma Tamayo 
  • Internal Medicine, Medical Center – Dr. Christopher Force 
  • Obstetrics & Gynecology, Medical Center – Dr. Konrad Harms 
  • Pediatrics, Medical Center – Dr. Richard Byrd

Outstanding Coordinator Award 

An additional award, the Outstanding Coordinator for the Pediatric Clerkship, was presented to Diego Medrano.

This honor recognizes the dedication and hard work of those who support students throughout their medical training.
