In recognition of her remarkable dedication and contributions, Kelly Ray Landschoot, Administrative Coordinator at the Texas A&M School of Engineering Medicine, has been awarded the President’s Meritorious Service New Employee Award. This prestigious honor acknowledges staff members who exemplify the Aggie Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity, and Selfless Service.  

Established in 1986, the President’s Meritorious Service Award celebrates the exceptional contributions of staff members who illuminate the path of greatness within the university community. Kelly stands among the select few, chosen carefully by an anonymous committee for her boundless enthusiasm and devotion to her role. 

Reflecting on her honor, Kelly humbly expressed, “I feel very honored just to have been nominated for this award. While receiving recognition for a job well done is always gratifying, being considered for this award takes it to a whole new level of appreciation.” 

Kelly’s path to this significant achievement is marked by her leadership and dedication to excellence. She approaches every task with a clear sense of purpose rooted in the goal of assisting others. “Regardless of the scale of the task, my aim is always to alleviate burdens and reduce stress for those around me,” she shared. 

Her outstanding leadership hasn’t gone unnoticed, as her supervisor, John Louis Bolch, director of Enrollment and Academic Services, praised her remarkable qualities. “Kelly is dedicated, energetic, organized, focused, effective, professional, and efficient – the minimum for a great leader. Above the minimum, Kelly brings a positivity that every supervisor hopes their employees embrace,” he declared. 

Indeed, Kelly’s impact goes above and beyond the confines of her immediate responsibilities. Her positive attitude permeates through the School of Engineering Medicine, fostering an environment of camaraderie and empowerment. “Kelly always goes above and beyond the call of duty in pursuing excellence and inspires others to do their best,” Bolch remarked, emphasizing the profound influence on her colleagues. 

Furthermore, Kelly’s ability to engage with others on a deeply empathetic level surpasses the ordinary, leaving an unforgettable impact on those fortunate enough to interact with her. “She is genuinely empathetic,” Bolch affirmed, emphasizing Kelly’s capacity to listen attentively and extend kindness in every interaction.
