Jaden Aland
Biology, The University of Oklahoma
Jaden Aland was born in Lubbock, Texas, and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Biology. While at OU, he gained valuable experience as a Research Assistant in a pain therapeutics lab and as a Physical Therapy Patient Technician. He also studied World War I history during a study abroad program at Oxford University. Additionally, he served as the Vice President of External Affairs for the Pre-Medical Professions student organization.
Following graduation, Aland joined a startup company as a Lab Technician, focusing on developing high-specificity antibodies using computational modeling. His contributions in the lab led to his promotion to Lab Manager, where he oversaw daily operations. Later, he transitioned to a role as a Biomedical Engineer at a medical device company, where his passion for integrating engineering with medicine grew.
Aland chose EnMed to further his passion for using technology to improve healthcare access and quality. He is driven to apply the medical and engineering skills gained from EnMed to identify clinical needs and develop medical devices that address these gaps, particularly for patients in underserved areas.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Aland enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, golfing, and exploring new restaurants.
