Biomedical Engineering, Texas A&M University

Abigail Roth is from San Antonio, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering in May 2019. During her time in undergrad, she spent two and a half years in a biomaterials lab working on cranial implants to promote bone regeneration. Roth documented her findings in an undergraduate thesis and presented at a national level. Roth’s interests lie in continuing her research in materials science, regenerative medicine, and polymeric drug delivery at Houston Methodist.

Roth was involved as a leader in a service organization all four years and hopes to resume that in medical school as one of her class’s newly elected community service representatives. In her free time, she likes to travel, play board games with friends, and learn new things such as playing the piano.

After graduation, Roth will further their medical career at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC, specializing in pathology.
