Biomedical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin
Originally from College Station, TX, Adnan Khan joins EnMed with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
He previously worked as a research intern at the Texas A&M College of Medicine Center for Microencapsulation and College of Pharmacy 3D printing pediatric medication. He also volunteered with Seton Medical Center in Austin in the cardiology and pulmonology departments and served as a peer mentor for freshmen biomedical engineers at UT Austin. His current research interests include 3D printing and biomechanics and telemedicine.
“I chose EnMed because it presents a unique opportunity to innovate within the medical sphere and see that a difference is being made,” he said. “Being situated in the Texas Medical Center also provides countless opportunities to experience medicine and engineering firsthand.”
Outside of school, you can find Adnan playing basketball, frisbee, and video games. He also enjoys watching movies, NBA and college football.
