Eric Hall is from Nashville, TN, and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2023. At Texas A&M, he was heavily involved in TAMU BUILD, Texas A&M Pre Medical Society, TAMU SEDS, and Aggie Astronaut Corps. He also enjoys participating in pitch competitions, partaking in Aggies Invent and being the winner of the inaugural Texas A&M Problems Worth Solving Competition. His research interests include photoacoustic imaging, tissue engineering, and aerospace medicine.
During undergrad, Hall was a research assistant in the Bioastronautics and Human Performance Laboratory at Texas A&M. He is published in the Journal of the American Heart Association for his collaboration on work analyzing acute cardiovascular responses to altered gravity vectors in the human body. Hall’s other work includes studying the effects of lower body negative pressure on ocular perfusion pressure, which he presented at the 93rd annual Aerospace Medical Association conference in 2023.
Outside of school, Hall pursues a variety of activities. He is an avid hockey player, having played competitively for 14 years. He enjoys reading, video games, hiking, gardening, and weightlifting while finding time each week to try a new restaurant in Houston.
