Chemical Engineering, University of Alabama
Jacquelin Stanberry was raised in The Woodlands, Texas and graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a concentration in Biological Engineering from The University of Alabama. Jacquelin graduated from the Honors college and was a research assistant in a lab focused on developing nanoparticles for biomedical applications.
As an undergrad, Jacquelin studied abroad in Denmark where she learned how to apply engineering techniques and principles to develop solutions to real-world problems. Additionally, she volunteered at free clinics that provided medical care to underserved communities in and around Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Jacquelin chose EnMed because of the program’s enthusiasm and dedication to embracing a culture of life-long learning so that its students become physicians who are constantly pushing the boundaries to improve the standard of care and experience for their patients. Jacquelin plans to develop a keen ability to take ideas and develop tangible solutions that improve the lives of each patient she treats as well as the medical community as a whole.
In her free time, you can find Jacquelin listening to music while she runs, hanging out with her golden retriever, or watching college football every Saturday in the fall!
