Kenneth Sims graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and Commissioned into the U.S. Army as an active duty Second Lieutenant. Kenneth served as a Battalion Commander during his senior year at the Academy. He was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. As an undergraduate, Kenneth’s research focused on Soldier protective equipment design, biomechanics, and material science. Kenneth enjoys his church community, exercising, snowboarding, playing guitar, traveling with friends, and sleeping in on the weekends.
