The Office of Academic Success provides students in the School of Engineering Medicine with guidance on learning strategies, Step 1 and Step 2 board preparation, academic advising and resources to guide students toward degree completion.
Role of Academic Navigator
Academic navigators work closely with students, and collaborate with student and academic affairs, to ensure students’ needs are met. They help students manage, change, and adapt to the stages of medical school, they assist with course registration, and they monitor progress toward degree completion. When students have questions and are not sure who to go to for answers, their campus navigator will connect them to the office or person best suited to help.
We have an open-door policy and provide a safe space to discuss concerns and ask questions.
