Biological Engineering, University of Georgia
Hannah Bass from Kennett Square, PA, received her bachelor’s degree in biological engineering from the University of Georgia where she served as President of the Society of Women Engineers and a College of Engineering Ambassador.
She chose EnMed because of the opportunity to continue to build on her engineering background while learning more about taking ideas from paper to market.
“I like that EnMed will enable us to be competent doctors who will not only be able to identify key gaps in care but also ideate and potentially create solutions for these issues,” she said.
During her junior year of undergrad, Bass shadowed at a healthcare clinic and maternity ward in Kabale, Uganda. Her research interests include OB-GYN, maternal mortality and neonatal care.
Outside of school, she enjoys hiking, running, working out, reading and traveling.
