Biomedical Sciences, Colorado State University
Quinn Smith is from Fort Collins, Colorado, and graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of science in Biomedical Sciences from Colorado State University. While completing his undergraduate studies, Smith spent time serving on a mountain rescue team, working at a summer camp for children with medical conditions, and performing research in an orthopedic engineering laboratory. During his research, he contributed to several GLP studies involving novel orthopedic devices, and co-authored a paper published in the Annals of Translational Medicine.
Smith holds interests in surgery, global health, pediatrics, and wilderness medicine. During his time at EnMed, he hopes to use his skills gained in medicine and engineering to make contributions that advance these fields and expand access to care in underserved and remote settings.
Outside of medicine, Smith is an avid outdoor enthusiast. He holds a wilderness first responder certification, and spends most of his free time pursuing outdoor activities. His favorites include mountain biking, backpacking, rock climbing, and rafting. He is also working towards completing all 58 of Colorado’s 14-thousand foot peaks.
