Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Chemistry, University of Texas at Austin
Conrad F. Li was raised in Houston, Texas and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science and Arts in Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Chemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. During his undergrad, he performed research in computational protein folding and the development of image-processing methods for protein atomic force microscopy.
Conrad founded ECLAIR, an organization that provides students with the technical skills and raw hardware to pursue their personal robotics and artificial intelligence projects. He also was an active member of Hearts of the Homeless (H4H) Austin, a student organization that provides blood pressure and glucose monitoring to the unhoused community in Austin.
Conrad came to EnMed to discover how he can continue to use his engineering skills as a future physician. He hopes to create more accurate computational models of human physiology and anatomy that will deepen our understanding of medicine and inform future clinical decision making. Outside of school, you can find Conrad jamming out on his drum kit, playing tennis, or binging a new podcast.
