The Texas A&M University School of Engineering Medicine hosted the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in Houston with a distinguished keynote address from chief executive officer of engineering health and inaugural dean of engineering medicine Roderic I. Pettigrew, Ph.D., M.D. The seventh annual IEEE EMB Strategic Conference focuses on point-of-care technologies for health care, emphasizing funding opportunities and the promise and pitfalls of the journey from idea to the patient.
