Christine Lannon

Bioengineering, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Christine Lannon from Philo, IL, received her bachelor’s degree in bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

“EnMed will lay the foundation for me to have an innovative career in medicine,” she said. “With this unique background, I aspire to improve the technology within my field and increase overall access to quality healthcare, both locally and globally.”

Previously, Lannon worked at a dialysis clinic in Dallas and also volunteered with CardioStart International on a cardiac surgery mission to the Philippines. Her research interests include tissue engineering, surgical technology, and low-resource setting devices.

Outside of school, she enjoys running, reading, being around family, and playing with her dog, Alma.
