Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Daniela Osteicoechea is a first-year medical student who graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M with a BS in Biomedical Engineering. During Osteicoechea’s time at Texas A&M, she was actively involved in various research projects, including opioid-related research at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX, and nanoparticle engineering research for cancer therapeutics at Texas A&M. Through these experiences, she gained invaluable knowledge and skills and contributed to advancing the field of biomedical engineering.
When Osteicoechea is not busy with academics and research, she enjoys pursuing various activities and hobbies. She enjoys getting lost in a mystery or romance novel, binging medical TV dramas, and spending time with her family. Her hobbies include indoor climbing, weightlifting, and yoga.
